Hang Out with a Unicorn and a Moose Because These Animals Are Staying Home, Too
By Kevin Naulls, CBC Parents Staff

You've probably heard someone say "stay home" today.
You're going to hear that, it seems, at least for a little while.
Your kids may be feeling lonely because they aren't playing with friends like they used to. It's a challenging feeling. We all want to play! Hell, I'd give anything to be in a park with my fellow elderly millenials playing some old-fashioned tether ball. Alas, I'm doing my part like you are.
To show your kids that they aren't alone in this (we've heard from parents that this is important to them!), here are a bunch of videos of Gary the Unicorn and Mr. Orlando (Mr. O) self isolating just like you and me. Fair warning: Gary hugs a lemon, aw.
Gary is adapting to living at home just like you.
If you're like him, you might be a little disappointed to stay home right now. But he has some ideas, like getting your hugs out.
Games are fun when we all play together. Want to play a round of Imagi-Gary? You've got it.
Need to move and groove? Gary's ready to teach you the Unicorn Shuffle!
It isn't just unicorns staying at home! Mr. Orlando, Studio K's security moose, is doing his part too.
In fact, Mr. O wants to hold a meeting with the Stay Healthy Squad — are you ready?
If you have to sneeze or cough, Mr. O has a great technique for you. It involves vampires, but I promise it isn't spooky-ooky.
And if you're feeling creative — and truly, I guess this is a time where we're all being as creative as possible — Mr. O would love you to participate in the art of writing and reciting poetry.
To watch all of Studio K home right now, check out the CBC Kids YouTube playlist here. More to come! Stay safe and healthy, friends.
