Earth Craft: Pizza Box Planets
Originally published on momstown.ca

This craft uses the cardboard pizza circles that you find in frozen pizza boxes! What you need:
- cardboard pizza circle
- blue paint
- green tissue paper or crepe paper
- glue
- marker
Draw squiggles on the cardboard circle to create land (green areas) and water (blue areas) - it doesn't have to be globe-perfect! Have the kids start filling in the Earth's water using blue paint.
Cut pieces of green tissue, scrap or crepe (streamer) paper as shown below.
Spread glue on the parts of the Earth where you will be applying the "land" (green paper). Press the green paper onto the glue - and complete your replica of Earth!
