Easy Fall Craft: Acorn Mobile

By Shanti Nordholt-McPhee, Twig and Toadstool

Nov 4, 2014

With our first snowfall soon to come, we decided now is the time to do our nature collecting for our winter crafting. We found plenty of acorns on our autumn harvest and decided to create a sweet acorn mobile to enjoy all winter long.

For this you will need:

  • acorn caps
  • beads
  • jewelry wire (we found ours at the local dollar store)
  • glue gun and glue
  • a stick

To begin:

Glue your beads to your acorn caps.

Decide how long you want your acorn caps to dangle. Cut your wire. Wrap your wire around the stem of the acorn.

Wrap your wire around the top of the branch to hang your acorn cap.

When all your acorn creations have been hung, attach a long piece of wire to the stick for hanging. Hang somewhere for all to enjoy the autumn beauty.
