Halloween Craft: Sweet Handprint Spiders

ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED ON MOMSTOWN.CA

Oct 18, 2013

How cute are these little nursery school spiders? Momstown loves this simple craft that can be used to create a whole web of spiders!

You Will Need:

  • black paint
  • kraft or construction paper
  • googly eyes or binder hole reinforcements
  • string for web (optional)

Instructions:

1. Have you child paint the palm of his or her hand black (four fingers and hand, no thumb) and press onto paper twice—back to back—to create handprints that look like a spider with eight legs!

2. Add eyes and you've got a very cute handprint spider.

If you make lots of spiders, you can put them up on a bulletin board, window or door and use string to create a web around them!
