Daisy loves to make nature crafts, and here is how to make her garden jar! Click on the image below for a printable PDF of this project, or scroll down for the instructions.
Step 1
Head outside and collect some moss, soil, rocks and/or sand. Imagine what layers you would like to see in your garden jar.
Step 2
Collect a jar, vase or clear containers. It's best if you can fit your hand through the opening that way you reach in to build your garden.
Step 3
Place some dirt and rocks on the bottom of your jar. You can make a funnel out of paper to help pour in the sand. Next, add a layer of moss. What else would you like to add to your garden jar? You can add a succulent plant, an animal figure, a crystal or a gem. With a little imagination a simple jar can become a garden. What a wonderful way to bring a little bit of the outdoors inside!
Remember there is no right or wrong way to make a nature craft, so have fun!
