Print Your Own New Year’s Eve Activity Bags To Fill With Goodies For The Big Night

I'm getting so excited for our New Year's Eve celebrations coming up. Every year, it's the chance to relax and laugh with friends as we ring in a new year.

We've had a group of friends that we've done New Year's Eve with now for several years, since our kiddos were tiny. We've made the entire evening a family-friendly event where the kids can have fun alongside the adults.

When we first started this tradition, the kids were still small enough that they were in bed by 8 p.m. Of course, now that they're growing, they want to be included in the festivities for as long as possible. Which typically means being up just as late as us!

These countdown bags have proven time and again to be an amazing way for the kids to celebrate the new year, and you can easily create them yourself. Just head to your favourite store for all the supplies you need. I stocked up in the party section, baking aisle, kids' art aisle, dollar bins and of course — the toy aisle!

Paint Your Favourite Memory

This bag has a little 4x6 canvas and washable, no-drip paint brushes tucked inside so that kids can illustrate their favourite highlight from the past year.

In our house, it’s not New Year’s Eve if there aren’t cupcakes. With this bag, the kids can decorate their own cupcakes.
