Michael Tuesdays & Thursdays and The Debaters Join CBC Comedy Tuesdays

And Wednesdays get even hotter with Camelot after Dragons' Den.

CBC-TV makes the already laugh-filled Tuesdays even funnier with the addition of two of its outstanding new television comedies. Starting Tuesday, September 27, 2011, CBC-TV's spotlight on Canadian comedy now includes MICHAEL: TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS and THE DEBATERS.

Next week, CBC-TV's clever new gem, MICHAEL: TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS, the newest creation of acclaimed writer-producer-actor Bob Martin (Slings & Arrows, The Drowsy Chaperone) moves from Wednesdays to Tuesdays. Martin stars as Dr. David Storper, an Ottawa psychiatrist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  He has been seeing his patient, Michael Dyer (Matt Watts) on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 15 years. Michael believes David is his key to happiness. David believes Michael is his key to a lucrative book deal. We'll see.

Also moving from Wednesdays to Tuesdays is the hilarious and hugely popular radio hit THE DEBATERS with host Steve Patterson now on TV, teaming up with THE RICK MERCER REPORT and 22 MINUTES.
