On your way to Hamilton Pizza Pizza for Grey Cup tickets? Turn around!

The CFL has shut down a promotion that had Hamilton-area Pizza Pizza locations offering Grey Cup tickets as part of a $30 meal combo.

Fifteen pairs of tickets were being advertised as available at each participating location.

"Although it may have been made with good intentions, it didn't have proper authorization," CFL director of communications Paulo Senra told CBC Sports.

"Once it was brought to our attention we had the promotion pulled immediately."

Thepromotion only added fire to the idea that Toronto is not a football town as ticket prices to the game between the Calgary Stampeders and OttawaRedblackshave already been slashed.

There are still tickets available to the gameonStubHubfor as lowas $75 as of Thursday, but those wouldn'thavecome with two dippingsauces.
