Jane Adey has always wanted to tell stories for a living. She studied journalism at Ryerson University in Toronto and came to the CBC in 2001. Since then, Jane has reported for radio and television from just about every nook and cranny in Newfoundland and Labrador. She has had the privilege of being a regular contributor to CBC’s much loved documentary program Land & Sea. In 2015, Jane started hosting The Broadcast. Since going on the air in 1951, The Broadcast has been dedicated to covering stories about the people and the communities that depend on the sea for their livelihood.
