Generous contributions made at the Dec. 6 Thunder Bay CBC Sounds of the Seasons event.

Large groups and individuals came together at the CBC Thunder Bay fundraiser for the Regional Food Distribution Association Centre on Dec. 6 to donate a total of $42,860 in food and money.

The RFDA used the contributions to help food banks throughout the region and to top up its campaign of making up Christmas hampers for singles and seniors who are often left out during the holidays.
