Come out and help us support local food banks in Windsor - Essex County. The schedule for the day includes live broadcasts of The Early Shift with Tony Doucette; The Bridge with Bob Steele; CBC News Windsor at 6 with Amanda Ferguson and Sara Elliot; station tours and a chance to meet CBC personalities.
We'll have a special raffle running throughout the day, with a chance to win some fabulous prizes including Christmas decorations, educational toys and more!
Want a photo with Santa?Santa Claus will also be on hand throughout the day. Donate food or cash and get your photo taken. We'll add you to our online photo-gallery, and consider showcasing you during our weather forecasts throughout the month of December.
Want to drop off a food donation?You can visit us at the CBC Place in Windsor, 825 Riverside Drive West and drop off a food donation in our lobby from 9 am - 7 pm between now and the end of December (except December 24 and 25).
Can't make it to us?No worries. Contact us and schedule a pick-up between 6:30 am and 8:30 am December 7 to December 13. CBC Reporter Katia Augustin will be joined by other CBC personalities picking up your donations, and you could appear live on The Early Shift with Tony Doucette.
