4 Shows Vidya Balan Wants You To Binge On This Weekend

Fresh from the success of Mission Mangal, Vidya Balan is on a bingeing spree. According to her own admission, she’s tripping on a variety of TV shows, some of which she has finished in record time.

From a 2001 classic to a mind-bending current show, in an interview with HuffPost India, the actor revealed the 5 shows that she’d like everyone else to watch.

1. Six Feet Under - Hotstar

“The premise is that this family runs a funeral service. Every episode starts with a death and it’s juxtaposed with everything happening in their lives, it’s simply fantastic,” Vidya said.

 

2. Mindhunter Season 2 - Netflix 

David Fincher’s show that dives deep into the minds of some of the world’s most notorious serial killers gets darker and more unsettling in its sophomore season.

3. Downton Abbey - Netflix

A good time to binge on the hilarious-yet-poignant British series, ahead of the release of Downton Abbey the movie on September 30.

4. Mad Men - Netflix

The classic AMC show which revived the career of John Hamm is worth revisiting as it is much more enjoyable in its second viewing. Here’s why Mad Men is a show like no other.
