Zomato Delivery Person Accused Of Stealing Pet Dog In Pune

A Pune couple has accused a Zomato delivery person of walking off with their dog, Dottu.

A Pune couple has alleged that a Zomato delivery person walked off with their dog on Monday. Vandana Shah took to Twitter to share the details of the bizarre incident that happened at Karve Road. 

The CCTV footage showed that the dog, Dottu, was last seen inside the premises of Shah’s home-cum-factory complex premises, according to ANI .

Shah said that when they couldn’t find the dog for hours, the couple asked a few food delivery persons at an eatery near their home and one of them said it was taken away by their colleague, identified as Tushar.

“We took his contact number and asked him about Dottu. Tushar confessed to having picked him up but when we asked him to return the dog he started making up excuses and said that he had sent him to his village,” she told ANI.

The couple has also approached the police and tweeted to Zomato for help. Zomato Care responded to Shah, asking for her details and assured that someone from their team will get in touch.
