The actor says he spoke to EC officials who saw the biopic, 'PM Narendra Modi', under the Supreme Court's direction.
The films producers had moved the court against the stay ordered on its release by the EC on 10 April.
The film's producers are challenging the EC's ban on the film during poll season.
