The Wendy Williams Show will end because of Williams prolonged health-related absence and be replaced this fall with a show hosted by Sherri Shepherd.
The show's 13th season premiere was pushed back to Oct. 4 after Williams contracted a breakthrough case of COVID-19. Now it's been delayed until Oct. 18.
"They wont even let you order room service," the talk show host told "Late Night" comedian Seth Meyers.
The talk show host addressed her on-air behavior last week that prompted some viewers to wonder on social media about her "condition."
The talk show host said the remarks didn't come from "a place of malice," adding, "I live and let live every day. Life is too short."
The talk show host has since donated to two charities benefiting the cleft lip and palate community.
