Aubrey Plaza Still Hasnt Seen Her White Lotus Performance For A Very Relatable Reason

The actor earned an Emmy nomination for her performance in the comedy-drama series.

Nearly two years after Season 2 of Maxs The White Lotus was released, Aubrey Plaza has admitted she still hasnt watched her performance in it.

In a new interview with The Wall Street Journal , Plaza, 40, explained she hasnt seen any episodes from its sophomore season yet because theres just one thing hanging her up.

To be honest, I had trouble opening my HBO Max account when I was trying to watch it originally, Plaza said. I couldnt figure out the password, and I usually just give up when I cant figure out the passwords. I just cant handle things like that.

She then noted shes asked for a DVD of the series, but they dont send DVD sets anymore.

In the Emmy-winning series, the comedian plays a high-strung lawyer named Harper who goes on a vacation to Sicily with her naive businessman husband, Ethan (Will Sharpe), his college roommate Cameron (Theo James) and Camerons wife, Daphne (Meghann Fahy). Plaza earned a supporting actress Emmy nomination for her role.

This isnt the first time Plaza has shared her gripes with streaming services. The Life After Beth star told Vanity Fair last year that she gave up on watching Top Chef for the same reason.

I was trying to watch Top Chef Season 20. Couldnt figure out how to fucking get Hulu + Live. I give up! I cant. I just cant, she told Vanity Fair in an article published May 2023.

But Plaza has a foolproof solution for her password woes.

So what I like to do is go on iTunes and buy movies that are old, she added. Or Ill go on iTunes and just, like, buy the whole Sopranos series, and then my husband will be like, You literally can watch that for free on HBO Max.
