You dont need access to expensive equipment to maintain your fitness , but you do need a supportive pair of shoes to safeguard your body.

We recently spoke with a few personal trainers about their favorite workout shoes.  The TL;DR? You need a pair of hybrid shoes that work as well for cardio as they do lifting weights. Something universal like, say, the Under Armour Charged Assert 10 , which personal trainer Phil Nicolaou  told us is solid for cardio and weight days. I wear them everyday to work at the hospital where I do lots of walking and so far they are holding up well and remain comfortable throughout the day. They also work great at the gym.

I bought these shoes for my 21-year-old son for Christmas. He says theyre very comfortable and they fit well. They also look really nice on him. Hes worn them to work a time or two, and he says that they are somewhat nonslip and have a good grip. I dont know if this is just because its a new shoe or if it has something to do with the way the shoe has made, but his foot odor isnt as bad lol. Before these shoes, when he would take his shoes off it would smell so bad! Since he has swapped these shoes, he no longer has that problem.  Stacey

  

I have issues with my feet due to super high arches so I needed to purchase a shoe that could provide support and comfort. I typically wear size 7.5 but ordered size 8 based on my Brooks. I was a little surprised with how snug and tight of a fit these are considering theyre size 8 and my other shoes have wiggle room. With these shoes, my toes are touching the inside with no wiggle room at all. I added my own support inserts because the ones that come in these werent very supportive of my super high arch but now, theyre much more comfortable. I also have to wear very thin socks due to how tight these fit. Other than that, I do like them a lot and wear them every time I have to work in office since Im up on my feet majority of the day.  Amazon Customer

 

I purchased these for my daughter after purchasing a pair for myself. My daughter has sensory issues so she is pretty particular about her shoes. I just knew shed love these. I have hiked in mine and even crossed streams on logs, getting them a little wet externally. The water did not penetrate my shoe. They are not water proof but Ive had other sneakers soak up the smallest bit of water so this was great for me.  JaneBanana

 

This is my second pair of these to purchase. Under Armour has nailed it with these! Great support at the arch. Amazingly comfortable memory foam insoles. The material is durable, great looking, comfortable and doesnt do a bad job of shedding water. Great flexible outsoles with an amazing traction pattern. I love how comfortable yet crush resistant the heels are. I highly recommend these, you wont be disappointed!  Kevin B. Mcalister

 

My husband needed a running shoe, also walking. This is a very smart, good looking shoe. It is great for the intense heat. Also, it has breathable material, including leather material combined, which makes it more expensive looking then a lot of these running shoes. I bought them for him in white, and they fit him true to size. I got him a wide width, but I think they have all widths. If you want a nice looking running shoe that does not look like everyone elses this is it. It will do what it Has to do. Great support, light weight can be washed and good looking at the same time. What more could you ask for ? Great price also.  Brian F.
