Bethenny Frankel And Jason Hoppy Are Officially Divorced

Bethanny Frankel ’s divorce from Jason Hoppy is final, nearly four years after the “Real Housewives Of New York” star filed divorce docs . 

“We can confirm that the divorce has been resolved. Our client is ecstatic that this long chapter is over, and she is looking forward to moving on with her life,” Frankel’s lawyer said in a statement to People magazine on Monday. 

Though she declined to give her own statement this time around, when Frankel announced the split back in December 2012, she said: “This was an extremely difficult decision that, as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family. We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority. This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us.”

The pair wed in 2010 . The terms of the settlement remain private, but Hoppy’s lawyer said  the former reality star is “extremely pleased with the settlement that was reached.” 

According to a custody settlement reached in 2014, the pair will co-parent their six-year-old daughter.

In 2015, Frankel told Andy Cohen that she was surprised by how the split was playing out.

“There’s no way for people to realize what’s really going on,” Frankel said at a “Real Housewives of New York City” reunion. “I really never expected it to be like this. I’ve had a pretty colorful past that hasn’t been the easiest, and this is, by far, the most excruciating thing I’ve ever even come close to being in.”
