Bill Maher Loses It Over Donald Trump And The 'Slow-Moving Right-Wing Coup'

Bill Maher isn’t laughing about the presidential election anymore.

The “Real Time ” host got deadly serious on Friday to criticize the “politicized” FBI and implore the media to report on the “right-wing coup” that’s slowly taking over the country.

“I know this is a comedy show and I’m going to try to keep it on that level ,” the visibly angry comedian said during his opening monologue. “But it’s not fucking funny.”

“There is a slow-moving right-wing coup going on,” he added. “Media, do your fucking job! Report on it!”

Maher blasted the FBI for involving itself so heavily in the election .

“They’re calling it Trumplandia,” he quipped, before claiming the country has reached “peak insanity” as Russia allegedly creates fake documents to discredit Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign, which GOP candidate Donald Trump’s team then tweets out as real.

“People are saying ‘it’s better than Hillary,’” said Maher. “No it’s fucking not! We have to get a grip on reality.”
