A Heartbreaking Look At The Sweet Bond Bobbi Kristina Shared With Her Mother

Like any mother and daughter, Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina had their share of ups and downs together, but their bond was always a close one.

When Houston appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2009, she gave a memorable musical performance and her first interview in nearly seven years. Bobbi Kristina was in the audience at the time, and when Oprah turned the conversation toward their mother-daughter relationship, the smiling teen gushed about the love they shared.

"Words can't explain how proud I am of her," Bobbi Kristina said. "I've been there with her, you know, through everything... I stay by her side. That's like my best friend. That's like my sister."

"It wasn't easy, but she never let go of my hand," Houston said. "And I never let go of hers."
