Yikes.
Foster Farms is recalling approximately 220,450 pounds of frozen chicken nuggets because they may contain blue plastic and black rubber pieces , the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced on Friday.
The nuggets are fully cooked, and there have been no reports of illness. Foster Farms discovered the problem after several customers complained.
The recall affects specific 5-pound bags and 10-pound boxes of nuggets shipped to Alaska, Arizona, California, Utah and Washington state. Check the USDA recall page for specific packaging info.
If you own the affected nuggets, you should either thrown them away or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund, Foster Farms says.
Oh, and make it a burger night instead.
