"Effortless" is a word we keep hearing to describe the disheveled 'dos that keep cropping up on the runways of New York Fashion Week , though that's an imperfect descriptor.
Models strutted down the Spring 2016 runways of Marissa Webb, Osklen, Nicholas K and Giulietta wearing what we're calling "half-assed chignons ." Though the style may look haphazard, it obviously took teams of hairstylists more than five minutes to create these messy knots and twists. Still, we love the laid-back aesthetic of this hair trend -- it's a look that anyone can do at home and still appear pulled-together and stylish.
