A 'Saturday Night Live' Cast Member Gets The Axe And Shares A Heartbreaking Note

The long-running comedy show also announced some new additions.

Its one and done for Saturday Night Live cast member Chloe Troast.

The comedian announced Monday on Instagram that she was not asked to return  for the shows milestone 50th season. Troasts stint on the long-running NBC comedy program lasted one season, in which she memorably played an unwanted orphan singing her troubles to a moon  with actor Timothe Chalamets face on it.

Unfortunately i was not asked back to SNL this season, Troast wrote. I wish i was going back to be with all the amazing friends i made there, it truly felt like home. But it wasnt in the cards.
