Dreams do come true for Chris Colfer, who has landed a role in the big screen version of "Absolutely Fabulous."
Producers confirmed the news on the movie's official Facebook page Friday, posting a snapshot of the 25-year-old "Glee" veteran in between stars Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.
Colfer, who said he's a lifelong fan of the classic British sitcom on which the film will be based, expanded on the news in a Nov. 20 interview on "Larry King Now."
"I've been a huge, huge fan of 'Ab Fab' since I was a child and too young to watch it," the actor, who will play Saunders' "hairdresser-slash-social media consultant," told King. "It's genius."
It'll be a welcome return to acting for the Colfer, who has largely focused on writing since "Glee" wrapped in March . Although details are scarce, the Golden Globe winner is also reportedly in talks to star in a Broadway musical.
Also slated to appear in the "Ab Fab" film are Joan Collins , Kim Kardashian and 100 drag queens .
May the "gleeking" commence!
