Newly-Engaged Colton Haynes Says He Wants Kids 'Really Soon'

Colton Haynes has been engaged for just over a week, but he’s already got kids on his mind. 

The “Teen Wolf” and “Scream Queens” actor announced his engagement to Jeff Leatham  in an Instagram post on March 13. Leatham, who is the Artistic Director of Paris’s Four Seasons Hotel George V, popped the question on a beach in Los Cabos, Mexico, with a little help from Cher and some fireworks . 

Though the men have yet to set a wedding date, Haynes is already thinking ahead about expanding their brood. When TMZ caught up with the star in Los Angeles March 17, he said that he and Leatham were planning on having children “hopefully really soon,” before quickly clarifying, “not before we get married.” 

Haynes, whose Instagram bio now includes “soon to be father,” posted a photo of himself standing shirtless in a pool Monday with a cheeky, parenthood-referencing caption. 

It’s been a whirlwind year for Haynes, 28. After years of media scrutiny , he came out as gay in May 2016, telling Entertainment Weekly he was “happier and healthier” than he’d ever been after battling anxiety. He went public about his relationship with Leatham in a February Instagram post , writing, “It’s not every day that someone comes into your life and makes you want to be a better man .”
