A man who carried a Confederate flag while storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, has been found guilty of obstruction.
Kevin Seefried and his son Hunter went to Washington to attend former President Donald Trump s Stop the Steal rally and were among the first rioters to enter the Capitol during the attack, according to the U.S. Attorneys office .
Seefried was later spotted with the flag while he and Hunter were part of a larger group of people who chased U.S. Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman and verbally confronted other officers, the U.S. Attorneys office said in a statement .
