Video Game Wedding Cake Gives Us A Legitimate Reason To Play With Our Food

We've seen enough video-game-inspired wedding cakes to last us a lifetime -- confections based on "Pac-Man," "World of Warcraft," "The Legend of Zelda," "Super Mario" and the list goes on and on.

But there's one type of video game cake we haven't come across yet and it will impress even your nerdiest friends: a cake that is both playable and edible (the best of both worlds if you ask us). The game (in this case, Donkey Kong) is projected directly onto the multi-tiered cake's surface.

The video above was posted to YouTube by the New Jersey-based DJ company POSH Entertainment in August, but didn't start picking up steam until late last month. Press play to see the nerdtastic cake in all its glory.
