Democrats Take On Trump With Devastating 'Law & Order' Parody During DNC

At the Chicago convention, Democrats highlighted Trump's criminal record with a stylish dupe of the beloved crime procedural.

The Democrats told the story of Donald Trump s criminal conduct with a searing parody of Law & Order during night one of the Democratic National Convention .

On Monday night in Chicago, the party laid out the former presidents extensive rap sheet in a two-minute video that echoed the long-running NBC cop shows signature style.

The sharply produced piece featured a booming baritone voiceover that listed off Trumps especially heinous history of criminal behavior, including financial fraud and sexual abuse, as well as his infamous hush money trial and efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

The video then depicted Vice President Kamala Harris as a heroic prosecutor and encouraged the American people to send Trump a scathing verdict with their votes this fall.

We are the jury he most fears, the voiceover said. When we vote this November, we vote for justice, accountability and the rule of law that keeps America free.

As the video wrapped with a clip of Harris, the audience went wild with applause.

The Law & Order homage was just one of the highlights of the DNCs very busy opening evening.

The first night of the convention featured remarks from former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton , New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez  and three womens harrowing stories of how abortion bans hurt them , before ending with an impassioned speech from President Joe Biden .
