Diane Kruger's Thigh-Highs Are Probably Boots, Definitely Cool (PHOTOS)

We're pretty sure the tights-are-not-pants battle will rage on until the end of time. In the meantime, let's focus our attentions on a new legwear poseur: thigh-high boots.

Diane Kruger , always the adventurous dresser, stepped out on Wednesday night wearing a Chanel black mini dress and thigh-high -- rather, crotch-high -- black suede boots. As MyDaily notes , Kruger's Christian Louboutin boots looked like tight leggings except for the flash of skin at the top of each leg.

Typically such a daring style would have us holding our breath for a malfunction of sorts -- but this is Diane Kruger we're talking about. She's a pro at wearing thigh-high boots , she always complements her fearless style with a low-key demeanor and she's got Joshua Jackson to guide her ably through cobblestone streets and other treacherous situations.
