Elmo... laid off???
A new parody video from Whats Trending shows what could happen if President Donald Trump s proposed budget cuts reached Sesame Street .
Since the show isnt directly funded by the corporation and has a contract with HBO , Elmo is probably safe... at least for now.
But some children may no longer be able to watch the show as the cuts could force some PBS stations to shut down , especially in rural areas.
