Fox News Johnny Belisario couldnt fetch an answer out of a canine at the Republican National Convention as he made fun of South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem s dog-killing controversy on Wednesday.
Belisario spoke to delegates in Milwaukee before crouching down to pet the canine, who he referred to as the first dog delegate.
How are you feeling? he asked only to get no response from the service dog, a 7-year-old purebred English Labrador retriever named Lambeau who was recently featured in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel .
No, Kristi Noem was the other night so I think you should be good.
The wisecrack comes after the South Dakota governor sparked controversy in April when it was revealed that she wrote in her new book about shooting and killing a 14-month-old wirehaired pointer named Cricket.
