How To Make Marshmallow Clouds For Hot Chocolate Season

Hot chocolate season is one of the greatest seasons of all. It means many, many cups of rich, chocolatey mugs  that are basically filled with dessert in drinkable form. We are always looking for ways to make our hot chocolate even more decadent (with much success ), but now we've found a way to make them downright adorable. Folks, look at these homemade cloud-shaped marshmallows. 

These homemade vanilla marshmallows whipped up by food blogger La Receta de la Felicidad  are almost too cute for words. They're made from a simple homemade marshmallow recipe (which can be flavored in lemon and chocolate as well as vanilla) and cut with cloud-shaped cookie cutters . The faces, which are not necessary but totally sweet, are then drawn on with food markers . 

If you've never made marshmallows, don't fear, it's much easier than you'd think. And this is the right recipe to try because it calls for only four ingredients -- and corn syrup is not one of them. Go ahead, try it.
