Most bathroom cabinets are likely stocked with the ubiquitous and all-purpose tub of Vaseline . I recently, however, unearthed a potentially better beauty alternative that hails all the way from the pharmacy shelves of France and has shoppers stocking up in twos and threes.
Although Homeoplasmine has virtually the same skin care uses as Vaseline and Aquaphor , the ingredients included in its formulation are vastly different.
While the American-made formers are great skin protectants, lip balms, and moisture-lockers, they dont contain very many active ingredients. Homeoplasmine, which, aside from its paraffin base, features homeopathic inclusions such as calendula officinalis and phytolacca officinalis two plant-derived and anti-inflammatory substances that have a number of potential skin benefits from promoting wound healing to increasing hydration and preventing oxidative stress, a factor that can cause premature skin aging.
Additionally, this salve-like balm contains a few other homeopathic remedies for inflammation such as byronia , along with boric acid and benzoin, two ingredients that, when topically applied, may possibly help serve as antiseptics.
Nearly all reviewers confirm that this nature-based combination has made Homeoplasmine their go-to ointment for everything and has addressed everything from severe dryness to rapidly healing superficial wounds with little to no scarring and seemingly overnight. One reviewer also claimed that its performed miracles on their aging lips and works well under lipstick to minimize the appearance of those dryness-related lip lines.

This is better than Vaseline! Ive been consistently using this in my skincare routine as a hydrating lip balm, or to moisturize dry spots during winter. I love that it doesnt have any scent and it stays long when applied. Its not tacky and heavy, plus I love that its packaged in a tube for easy storage or to just plop it in a bag. This sceptic agrees it is magic. I typed angular chelitis into Amazon and this came up. Thats when you have those painful cracks in the corner of your mouth. After 2 nights of using this they disappeared! And if I feel them coming back I throw this on and Im all good. Works great for chapped lips as well. This is so much better than vaseline. I use it on my lips under longwear lipstick and it stays put and is comfortable all day. BUT! True love set in once cold and flu season started and I got sick. Straight up magical. This cream is BY FAR the best facial cream or lip cream. Within a day this cream healed dry, cracked lips. I use it for face moisturizer and it is the absolute best. If my house was on fire this cream would be the only thing I would go back in there for. The only lotion worth saving.
