Ivanka Trump may soon have a difficult decision to make that could have dire consequences for her father, Donald Trump , former U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance wrote in her latest Civil Discourse newsletter.

The former presidents eldest daughter may well have to choose between Daddy and perjury, suggested Vance.

Vance explained how Ivanka Trump, who served as a White House advisor during her fathers presidency, is contesting New York Attorney General Letitia James call for her to testify in her fathers ongoing civil fraud trial in New York.

Ivanka Trump has argued she shouldnt have to appear before the court because she wasnt deposed before the trial. Vance, however, said it likely wont wash because Ivanka Trump is a fact witness in courtroom testimony about the alleged price manipulation of a penthouse. James should, therefore, be permitted to call on her to take the stand, Vance added.

Vance said testifying shouldnt be a tough call for Ivanka Trump, who was last week pictured at reality personality Kim Kardashians birthday party , given her fathers reputation for throwing even his closest allies under the bus to save himself.

If their positions were reversed, its hard to imagine Trump sacrificing himself for her, said Vance. As the wheels come off the Trumps legal wagon, its going to be everyone for themselves.
