This Jesus Needs A Minor Miracle To Ride An Escalator

A reading from the book of Escalators.

A man dressed as Jesus Christ in Cologne, Germany , found that his cross to bear was, well, his cross. The crucifix got stuck in a ceiling as he reached the top of an escalator at a metro station. 

The Mirror reports that the man was dressed as Christ  over the weekend for Carnival , which is the city’s festival leading up to Lent.

The ride was uneventful... until this moment: 

Spectators laughed during his brief struggle with the cross. He eventually freed it, but may have damage the ceiling in the process:

Even the man dressed as Jesus couldn’t help but laugh.
