Even during a preseason game on Monday night, tempers between Wizards forward Paul Pierce and Bulls center Joakim Noah were in midseason form.

The scuffle started after Pierce committed a hard foul on Bulls guard Jimmy Butler. Noah came to his teammate's defense, and from there the pleasantries were exchanged. Eventually, Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau and the officiating staff were able to cool the commotion.
