Vice President Joe Biden reflected on the lessons he's learned throughout his life, including what he learned from the "profound loss and grief" of losing his son Beau .

Biden shared his lessons as part of CBS's "Note to Self " series. He opened up about overcoming a stutter as a child and touched on several hardships he's endured, including the loss of his first wife and daughter in a car accident in 1972.
