John Galliano Surfaces In London In Rare Post-Scandal Appearance

Nearly a year after his very public fall from grace and subsequent hiatus from his formerly bustling social life, former Dior creative director John Galliano has resurfaced in London.

Page Six spotted Galliano at a 50th birthday bash recently for DJ Jeremy Healy at Mark Hix in London.

Onlookers were surprised to see Galliano at a bar -- isn't he a recent alum of rehab? But apparently the designer wasn't partying up a storm; a witness described him as "quiet and reserved, he was sober and very demure."

The designer, who celebrated his 51st birthday in November, was ousted from his helm at Dior in March 2011 after videos of his drunken anti-Semitic rants appeared on the Internet. The position remains unfilled despite a constant flux of rumors about who will eventually fill it.
