Kaitlan Collins 'Can't Believe' She Has To Fact-Check Trump On Biden Accusation

The CNN anchor appeared to reach her fill of having to correct the former president.

Even news anchors have their limits on correcting Donald Trump . (Watch the video below.)

CNN s Kaitlan Collins on Wednesday appeared fed up with the former presidents wild accusation that President Joe Biden has been hopped up on drugs like cocaine.

During a campaign stop in Racine, Wisconsin, the former president predicted Biden will do the same for their debate next week and directly accused the incumbent of being the one who left a baggie of cocaine at the White House last summer. (The Secret Service concluded it could not finger the culprit .)

Hes gonna be so pumped up, hes gonna be pumped up, Trump told the crowd. You know all that stuff that was missing about a month ago from the White House? What happened? Somebody didnt pick up hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cocaine. I wonder who that couldve been. I dont know. Actually, I think it was Joe.

Collins annoyance that she had to bat down Trumps persistent and baseless claim came through.

I cant even believe I have to fact-check that one, I guess if thats what youre calling it, Collins said. But it was not President Biden.

Trump, who previously said Biden was higher than a kite during his State of the Union address in March, has cynically renewed calls for a debate drug test as the showdown nears. Meanwhile, Republican allies have also harped on Bidens supposed deficit in mental fitness by using deceptive videos .

The criminally convicted GOP candidate has been accused of his own cognitive shortcomings .
