Kanye West appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last night to reconcile the "rap beef" the two got into over a silly sketch Kimmel produced last month about Kayne's BBC Radio interview.

Thankfully they buried the hatchet, and Kimmel even presented Kanye with a pair of mini leather jogging pants for baby North, which sparked a classic Kanye rant about his passion for fashion.

We're already well aware of Kanye's extensive fashion internships and hobnobbing with industry insiders . But the rapper-cum-designer took the opportunity to remind us while on Kimmel by dropping names of some fashion heavyweights that he's met with -- like Andrew Rosen the CEO of Theory, Amancio Ortega Gaona the founder of Zara and fashion mogul Franois Pinault, to name a few.

Bottom line: Kanye really, really, REALLY wants to be a major fashion designer. And honestly we feel kind of bad for the guy. Just like in his BBC Radio interview , Kanye told the host that his struggle to break into fashion is like when Michael Jackson was fighting to get his videos on MTV. Although West has already presented a few runway collections, none of them have found success, we can see how this could be very frustrating for the rapper.

"Currently in fashion and the way that the fashion world works, there's no black guy at the end of the runway in Paris in all honesty," he said.

Well, there is Balmain's designer Olivier Rousteing. But we know what you're saying, Kanye.

Here are a few more fashion related gems from Kanye's Kimmel interview for your reading pleasure:

"Fashion isn't always practical -- it's more about emotion and it's more about swag, it's more about p*ssy, it's more about club, it's more about style and stuff."

"Who do you know that's known more for clothes than me?"

"I'm going to use my platform, every platform, to stand up and say I wanna make something, I wanna make the next Ralph Lauren."
