On Season 5 of "Breaking Bad ," Laura Fraser makes her debut as Lydia Rodarte-Quayle, Walt's methylamine supplier.
As gracefully as she stepped into her role, Fraser didn't know what she was getting into ... because she'd never seen the show.
Her costars didn't shy away from telling her to watch it, especially Jonathan Banks, who plays Mike Ehrmantraut.
"Jonathan Banks was telling me to watch it," Fraser said in an interview with Vulture . "Because I kept going, 'What have you [Mike] been up to? Whats your game?' And hes like, 'Well if you watch the show ' But I was a little bit too nervous to watch it before I was wanting to stay in the world that I was reading from in the script. But after that first episode I went and watched the whole thing, because at that point I was like okay, Im a part of it. I couldnt resist any longer."
Fraser isn't alone in shying away from the series on which she appears. Adam Levine, who's appearing in the upcoming season of "American Horror Story," admitted he's afraid to watch the show .
"I'm still too scared to watch it," Levine told MTV News . "But I'm gonna try and beat my fear of really creepy, scary things like that by doing it. I think that's a good way to tackle that fear."
