The Fly Away rocker donned one of his signature leather looks on the red carpet , teaming tight black pants with a zip-up motorcycle jacket and dark sunglasses.

Treating everyone to a look at his washboard abs, the singer decided to skip a shirt for the evening.

Apparently not wanting to look underdressed, however, Kravitz opted to wear a jewel-embellished tie atop his bare chest.

Making the ensemble appear all the more absurd, he secured the tie around his neck with a skinny strand of string.

The Are You Gonna Go My Way singer, who was set to perform with rapper Quavo at the awards, completed the outfit with a pair of white boots and a heavy metal bracelet.

While Kravitzs interpretation of black tie certainly raised some eyebrows, the star has been fond of experimenting with unusual leather looks lately.
