Max in the driver's seat...

Have you ever felt like things are not going your way?

That life is out of control, and you cannot catch a break?

Join the club.

But what if that was untrue? What if there was a simple solution?

Most people believe that they are feeling their life circumstances, or what the world is throwing at them at that moment.

But they are erroneous.

Those people generally hope for only good things to happen to them.

Heres the kicker...

We do not feel our situations. We feel our thinking.

Thoughts feel real, even if they are not.

Dreams feel real, dont they?

Well theyre not.

When we feel out of control, it is not our lives, or whats going on around us. It is our out of control thinking.

And thats okay.

Every single one of the professional athletes, supermodels, and business leaders I have spent time with have admitted to me that they often feel insecure, lose confidence and doubt themselves.

Its a human thing.

We all create worst-case scenarios in our heads sometimes and scare ourselves. Every single one of us.

Heres the good news: Our experience is never coming from outside of us. Our experience is coming from within us. We are creating it.

It is not life that is making us feel bad. Its bad thinking that makes us feel bad.

And thinking is always changing (thank goodness).

Heres the great news: We are driving the car (like my man, Max in the photo above) in our lives.

When we realize that we are the driver and creator of our own experience, we stop blaming our life circumstances.

And when we do that, we stop becoming prisoners of our situations.

We realize that its not the economy, the size of our bank account, or our relationship status.

From different states of mind, we see things totally differently.

From a low state of mind, we feel like theres no hope.

From a high state of mind, we feel like anythings possible.

Even with the same life circumstances.

BOOM.

So as you go through your day/night/week, consider this possibility:

Maybe everything that we feel is coming from our perception about our situations aka our thinking.

Maybe we are creating every happiness and sadness in our lives.

And maybe we have the innate ability to be happier, less stressed, and kick more butt.
