Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) is not impressed with her snow-fearing colleagues.
Federal offices were closed Thursday in anticipation of yet another winter storm in the Washington, D.C. area. Snowfall totals across the region ranged from four to 10 inches, but that didn't keep Murkowski away from the office.
The senator posted a video to Facebook Thursday afternoon showing a deserted hallway in one of the Senate's office buildings.
I'm here in the Dirksen Senate building. These are all offices of members, staff committees, and there's nobody here," Murkowski said. "It's Thursday afternoon at 2:49."

The senator, however, wasn't totally alone on Capitol Hill. Dozens ignored a police ban on sledding on Capitol grounds and enjoyed the fresh powder on the federal slopes.
"We're out here sledding for America," one sledder told Reuters.
