Love Is Blind is back for its second season of the year. This time, the Netflix series heads to Washington, D.C., to set up several singles on the quest to find love and get engaged before ever seeing their potential partners.

In six episodes, we meet several cast members, including Leo, 31, the wealthy art dealer who wont let you forget hes well-off; Hannah, 27, one of the youngest contestants this season, who quit her job to participate on the show; Tyler, 34, the compassionate account manager who wears his heart on his sleeve; and Stephen, 34, who has recently learned more about his true identity and has changed his outlook on life.

Ultimately, seven couples get engaged, but only six continue onto the honeymoons in Episodes 5 and 6. (Hopefully, audiences will get more answers about that seventh couple in the near future.)

In the chat below, we take a deep look at the first six episodes of the season and talk about which contestants were rooting for and who we think shouldnt say, I do. Stay tuned for updates.

Here's What We Predict Might Happen In Season 7

Im not seeing it for Hannah and Nick, Tim and Alex, or Monica and Stephen. Hannah and Nick probably never should have gotten engaged, and Im not sure theyll even make it to the altar. Alex really only seemed to be a shoulder for Tim to cry on in the pods while talking about his sisters deaths (and she seems easily irritated by him). Monica telling Stephen to be quiet told me everything I needed to know about them. Something about their connection also just seems fake to me. IDK! Tyler and Ashley are adorable, and I hope they keep building up their relationship and get married. Who else? Lol, there are so many couples. Garrett and Taylor could work, but they have a lot of building to do. Ramses and Marissa are giving too much high energy off the gate, so that could come crashing down or theyll just be a hyper couple and vibe off each others energy.

I think three couples will make it to the altar but only two will actually get married: Tyler and Ashley, and Ramses and Marissa. I think Garrett and Taylor will be the couple that doesnt get married. The other three (Hannah and Nick, Tim and Alex, and Monica and Stephen) will break up in the next few episodes. Cambria

Chile, knowing how this show has been going the past few seasons, there will be two weddings and one I do. I cant call it.

BUT, I am hoping for Tyler and Ashley, and Ramses and Marissa, to make it to the end. Garrett and Taylor are a "possible." Monica and Stephen will probably make it to the altar, but shell say no and Stephen will be heartbroken. Tim and Alex, and Hannah and Nick, need to leave each other the hell alone. Taryn

I want all the couples to make it to the altar, because it will be a disaster and I want the mess. This bland-ass season needs some spice. Elyse

The only couple I feel sure about right now is Tyler and Ashley. But Hannah and Nick, and Tim and Alex, need to cut their losses because they dont seem built to last. Garrett and Taylor have a chance at making it to the altar, as do Monica and Stephen, but who knows who will actually say "I do." Im still debating about Ramses and Marissa. Something just feels off, maybe because their connection doesnt feel deep enough to sustain a marriage. Njera

Right now, Im not convinced Alex really likes Tim, and their fight seems very unsettling, so I doubt theyll make it. Hannah and Nick dont seem ready for marriage, and Im not even convinced that Hannah actually likes Nick. To me, it feels like Monica and Stephen can still work; they just need to grow their connection more. Ramses and Marissa are up in the air for me, and I wouldnt be surprised if their spark fizzled out. Im rooting for Garrett and Taylor, but theyre so analytical that I feel it might catch up to them at some point. If only one couple says I do, then right now I only see it for Tyler and Ashley! Id put money on it. Taiyler

Bohdan Calls Out Trump With Similar Rhetoric As VP Kamala Harris

I had to shout out this moment when Bohdan called out GOP nominee Donald Trump with similar rhetoric as did Vice President Kamala Harris in the last presidential debate. Bohdan said something to the effect that generals in the military are like Fuck that dude, and it immediately reminded me of Harris saying that world leaders are laughing at Trump . I gotta love when even a reality TV contestant is taking digs at a former president.

Thankfully, The Couples Talk A Bit More About Politics Than In Previous Seasons

I loved Netflix for including so much more political talk than usual ahead of the election, with this being a D.C. cast. I also love that it was mostly anti-Trump sound bites that were used. I found Stephens viewpoint really interesting, and I think itll be relatable to a lot of people who watch this show. Good on Netflix for using its reach to include politics ahead of one of the most important elections of our time. Cambria

Yes, I appreciated this, too. It would have felt awkward not to include these conversations, because so much of building a relationship is understanding your partners values. I feel like they leaned into that much more this season, and rightfully so. Any time I hear about a person of color dating a Trump supporter, I immediately have questions. Like, whats that about, Marissa? When Stephen walked us through how he voted for Trump in 2016, but learned his lesson, did his research and then voted for Joe Biden in 2020, it was great to see that he was open about that, because its the kind of thing that could be a dealbreaker. Erin

Oh, I couldnt wait to talk about this! In previous seasons, my radar has gone off whenever I see a contestant who seems to be a Trump supporter. But the show has never really seemed to go into that until recently. It makes the show seem more honest now. I really appreciated watching Stephen talk about previously voting for Trump, then Biden, and how he responded when he learned that his dad was partially Black. I also thought it was great that they included Bohdan talking about Ukraine and how he decided to fight in the war. I found that scene to be so touching.

But, Erin, I also have questions (and some side eye) for Marissa after learning that she dated a Trump supporter for three years. Taiyler

I feel like Marissa dating a Trump supporter may be a result of being embroiled in military culture for so long, honestly. Theres not a ton of context for this she only mentioned dating a Trump supporter in passing but maybe she also once shared some of those views. Who knows? I did appreciate Stephens story about being disillusioned by Trump. I thought that was a really smart and relatable thing to put on such a popular show. Elyse

Is it bad that I wasnt surprised when Marissa said she dated a Trump supporter before?

I agree that it was refreshing to see these couples talk more politics this season, and perfect timing for the election. The producers should encourage those conversations in the pods more often going forward, because thats such a crucial thing to know about someone youre considering as a life partner. Njera

Let's Talk About Ramses and Marissa

Ramses and Marissa made me cringe initially, but they ended up winning me over. Now I think theyre pretty cute and that theyll last. I do feel like this is going to be a pretty boring, stable couple, though, la Johnny and Amy last season. Cambria

See, I think theyre cute as hell. Now, I dont understand why his big three being Cancer, Leo, and Leo made Marissa want to cut off her other connection all of a sudden and solely pursue Ramses, but Ill let her have it. We all have our reasons for love. Taryn

The way she cut Bohdan off so fast after Ramses revealed his big three? I need to go look into what it actually means. Erin

I mean, this granola couple makes sense, but theres something about Marissas "Tigger from 'Winnie-the-Pooh'" energy that makes me want to jump out of my skin. But most Aries have that effect on me, so maybe thats an Elyse problem and not a Marissa problem.

Anyway! Its good that these two like to bang, but sex always provides some rose-colored glasses for new couples, and that part doesn't last forever. And I dont like how eager both of them were to rank the other couples in Mexico right after their pool-party meetup. Like, they had a need to validate their opinion that theyre the BEST couple (thats such an Aries and Leo thing to do). Sure, fine, fan your egos and confirm with one another which couples youd most like to grab brunch with in the future, but cmon. This relationship is in its infancy, dont be so cocky yet. Elyse

Goodness, I really want to like this couple. But I cant help but feel like their flame is gonna burn out since their energy is so high. It almost doesnt seem sustainable. Taiyler

Out of all the couples, these two made the most sense together. They have the same kind of vibe, so I get why Marissa made Ramses her sole connection. But something about them doesnt scream "married couple." I just have a feeling one of them isnt going to follow through on that lifelong commitment once they get to the altar. Njera

Monica And Stephen Are Giving 'Black Cat/Golden Retriever' Energy

I had to think hard to remember who these people were, chile. Which made me recall that I do not like them as a couple. It feels as forced as Stephens newfound Black identity, courtesy of 23 and Me, of course. I do think Stephen adores Monica and just wants to be in servitude to her. Thats very clear on the honeymoon. Whats also clear is that she does not like this man like that. She looked very uncomfortable any time we saw them together.

But my favorite part of what weve seen from them so far is when Monica told Stephen to shut up after he'd been talking about nothing for like 15 minutes straight. Shes sick of it, and its hilarious to watch. Very "golden retriever/black cat" dynamic. Taryn

OK, during Monica and Stephens acupuncture conversation, I kept thinking: Guys, theres like another person here, could you stop talking about boners? Like, even a needle in Stephens head reminds Monica of dick. I dont quite get these two, either. Like, it seems like the only reason Monica likes Stephen is because he found out he was part Black and decided to do some research on that? Thats the only thing she cites when she speaks about falling in love with him, so what else about him does she like? She says shes into the fact that hes blue-collar, but I dont quite buy it. That kind of novelty will wear off as soon as the two have to foot the bill for something together. Elyse

The only memorable thing about these two is that Stephen being barely Black was something Monica pointed out during his proposal, which made me cringe hard. Why that then became a running joke on the honeymoon also made me cringe. I dont see a love connection there, sorry. Njera

I cant lie: Stephen bringing up voting for Trump and his newly discovered Blackness did make me wince a bit. However, on further consideration, I think those made for very TV-worthy moments. Im sure many other couples or soon-to-be-couples have had similar conversations about Trump. I also think his decision to look into his ancestry a bit after learning about it is better than doing nothing with the info.

I think Stephen really wants to be a good man for Monica. It will be interesting to see how things unfold when they move in together, since Monica has brought up what he does for a living. Im just not all in for this couple at the moment, but I don't think theyre a lost cause, even with Monica telling that man to be quiet. Taiyler

TIm And Alex Have A Big Fight But We Don't Get To See It

Where were the cameras?!?!?!!? I want to know why the cameras were gone when this argument unfolded. I knew something was going to happen between these two ever since Alex was getting soooo annoyed when she first met Tim outside of the pods. He kept saying some phrase that was irritating her, and she looked like she was going to lose it, while he was just being funny. Alex hasnt been able to let her guard down on the honeymoon once, it seems, and Im curious if shes even ready to be in a relationship, let alone a marriage. I couldnt tell exactly what their argument was even about in their retelling of it, but Tim was ready to call it quits. Im curious to see what happens next. Erin

These pending lawsuits got the producers moving real funny. Our best bet is probably waiting until the reunion to find out what actually happened. And thats a big if, knowing the Lacheys. Taryn

The fact that they didnt show the fight really made me wonder how bad it got. And if they haven't shown it at this point, I doubt they will at the reunion or any point ahead of it. From the moment they met IRL, it seemed like Alex was annoyed by Tim, or at least not really feeling him. And in one of their conversations, it seemed like they had different takes on what arguments or disagreements even look like, so the fact that they got into it doesnt surprise me. But my jaw dropped when they said Alex literally covered Tims mouth. Taiyler

Tim looked emotionally checked out after their conversation about the fight. Now Im really curious as to what went down for him not to even stay in their hotel room that night. Right now, they seem like theyre on two completely different pages, which is odd considering their connection seemed so strong in the pods. I wonder if being around each other and seeing each others' personalities up close caused the shift in energy. They seemed to be on decent terms when they were hanging out with the rest of the couples, so we need clarity on what happened afterward ASAP. Njera

Hannah And Nick's Drama On The Honeymoon

Lets call a spade a spade here. Hannah getting the ick about Nick riding a toy bird on the beach during vacation is rooted in homophobia. What do you mean you dont want to see a man riding anything? I hated that moment so much, because I hear terrible takes like this all the time, both online and in real-life conversations, that enforce the same toxic masculinity folks call out while putting men in a box. Quite frankly, its idiotic bigotry.

From what I gathered during the honeymoon, Nick is sweet and just wants to have fun. And he's honestly more direct than I assumed him to be. Im glad he confronted Hannah about her list of issues she had with him. Like, its day two and youre already writing a list of cons, no pros. Nick chewed her up when he told her he wasnt the only one who was delusional.

The call is coming from inside the house, Hannah! Have you ever thought that the same reasons you dont like Nick may be the same reasons you dont like yourself? Taryn

This moment pissed me off so bad. You nailed it, Taryn: homophobia veiled as an ick. Get outta here. Erin

I kind of liked Nick more when he decided to be a goof and ride the duck. To me, that kind of whimsy is attractive. But if we want to get into it, let's note that Hannah seems to have left out that list of cons for Nick to see. If that isnt emotionally immature and passive-aggressive, I dont know what is. Elyse

Yall hit the nail on the head. I didnt expect that bird moment to become an actual thing, but that ick was definitely homophobia and Hannah just trying to find another reason to pick at Nick. She. does. not. like. that. man. Its way too early for her to have a long list of cons, and Im sure Nick could make one that outdoes hers. I feel like he should run, because their relationship seems like itll only go down from here. Njera

I agree that she doesnt like that man and that her "ick" was rooted in homophobia. I just dont think Hannah is ready for marriage, with the way she acted about riding the duck, or whatever it was, and then passive-aggressively leaving out that pros-and-cons list. Now, if she had quickly addressed feeling insecure or upset about the lady who raced Nick, I feel like that would have made more sense. I totally understand having a human moment like that. But then again, things would have gone differently if she rode it with him instead of immediately getting "the ick" when he wanted to have a fun moment. Taiyler

We Need To Talk About Leo Throwing That Tantrum

Leo and Hannah bonding over a love of van Gogh is like me bonding with every New Yorker over our love of pizza, so I couldnt take this unserious coupling seriously at all.

Also, not to compare Hannah to Chelsea again, but when Leo asked her in Episode 4 if she wouldve chosen him over Nick if Leo had told her he loved her first, it felt A LOT like Trevor asking Chelsea the same question about Jimmy last season. So, yeah, Im convinced producers are trying to paint Hannah as Chelsea 2.0.

At first, Brittany and Leo seemed very unserious to me as well, because they initially came off like gender-normative cartoon characters. But Brittany is like an onion; she has layers. I liked how articulate she was about her feelings. I did like how Hannah finally called him out and dumped him. And I couldnt help but love Brittany clearly getting "the ick" from Leo once she finally met him face-to-face. Elyse

I think its insane that Leo felt like he could press Hannah about being torn between him and Nick when he was literally talking to Brittany about ring sizes the episode before. He created his own love triangle, so how could he be mad when the tables turned on him? It felt like he was trying to make himself feel better about Hannah not choosing him by saying she and Nick are perfect for each other, and Im glad she picked up on that. Njera

Leo threw a tantrum and tried to manipulate Hannah into choosing him when he felt rejected. A rich white man throwing a fit when he doesnt get what he wants who woulda thought? But Im glad Hannah saw through it and didnt choose him.

On the other end of the love triangle, Brittany was very upfront with her feelings, so her saying yes to Leos proposal despite not saying she loved him was such a shock to me. Taiyler

Tyler And Ashley Are Our Clear Favorites So Far

I love these two together. They seem to me like the most genuine couple out of the group. Their chemistry seemed very natural in the pods, and that translated immediately when they met in person. And we know how rare that is on this show. I love that theyve made faith a foundation of their relationship early on. Im really hoping they make it.

The one red flag I noticed, however, was how Tyler talked about his past noncommittal approaches to dating. He told Ashley that she may hear a lot of chatter about him not being shit in the past from different people. Im of the mind that if multiple people are saying the same thing about you, everybody aint lying. And I know going on a show isnt about to change behavior. I really just hope hes gotten that out of his system, and that he doesnt hurt my girl. Im emotionally invested in these two. And if were being honest, theyre the one couple in Love Is Blind history I feel like I can identify with the most. Please let Black love win, yall! Taryn

Every season I wait to see if theres a Black couple Ill be able to root for, and I think Tyler and Ashley are it. Their connection seems genuine, their conversations arent forced, and they seem like a great pairing personality-wise. It felt like they had all the necessary conversations in the pods to move forward in the real world. Also, I love how Tyler keeps repeating theyre going to get married, because we love reassurance! Half the time on Love Is Blind, it feels like the couples forget they have to say "I do" within a months time and dont consider that until the last minute. These two both sounding so committed this early feels like a good sign that theyll make it to the end. I pray they do. Njera

Woo love how were all loving Tyler and Ashley!

My only hesitation is that Ashley was introduced to us with the quote: Dont worry mommy, one day were going to have a daddy like the guys in the movies.

This makes me fear that shell overlook red flags in hopes of getting her happily-ever-after. But I really hope thats not the case with these two. Elyse

Oh, I absolutely adore this couple and I cant see them not making it to the end. They genuinely seem into each other and they just seem like they have fun together. And I love how vocal Tyler is about wanting to marry her! Taiyler

Netflix

We Were Really Rooting For Tim And Alex... Until

I wanted to see it for these two. I really did. Especially after they had some really sweet and vulnerable moments in the pods. But theyre like oil and vinegar. From the moment they met, the way they communicated felt off to me. It didnt feel like Alex took Tim seriously, and it didnt feel like Tim knew when to chill. Sure, opposites attract, but I dont think these two wouldve dated in the real world.

That final scene with them in Episode 6 confirmed that for me. While Im on the subject, this is another gripe I have with the producers. They have these really big moments where they dont show what happened, or that something happened at all, and then they spring it on us all of a sudden. We can only infer that things got ugly between Tim and Alex and boundaries were crossed after the pool party. But again... WHAT HAPPENED??? Im sure they were still micd up during the fight, at the very least. I get wanting to end on a cliffhanger, but this wasnt it. Taryn

I agree, I really wanted them to have a successful love story next to Tyler and Ashley but the minute they finally met in person, I knew they wouldnt last. Which, again, is a huge letdown, because they seemed so compatible in the pods based on all those deep conversations. But their personalities just dont mesh. I liked Tims sense of humor, so it was really cringe to see Alex shut down all his jokes. That was the first red flag. That awkward energy continuing on the honeymoon was another.

And then the random fight we dont get to see??? I dont know how they come back from that, but Ill never understand why the producers cut out those intense moments that Im sure were caught on film. Leaving the viewers with no context as to why they needed to spend that night apart seems like a weird decision, unless they plan to fill in the gaps in future episodes. Either way, I thought that was a strange place to leave off. Prayers up for those two, because I dont see how they make it to the altar if things are already this rocky. Njera

I had hopes for Tim and Alex, especially after she received his beautiful painting of a bumblebee. But after watching them for a bit, I dont know if I love their dynamic. It seems to be built on a lot of jokey teasing, which seems to be masking some negative emotions lurking below the surface.

Alex often seems annoyed by Tim, and Tim does seem to needle her a bit. He mentioned in the mens lounge, when we were first introduced to him, that he bought the shirt he was wearing purely out of spite because a girl he was dating said she hated it. Spite is a weird trait to brag about when youre looking for a wife.

That cliffhanger/final fight bugged me as well. I'm not sure why, but I got really upset when Tim said Alex put her hand over his mouth while he was speaking. I dont know, something about that fight sounded like it was a few pegs away from becoming physical, but Im not completely sure because theres not that much context. I hope everything is OK and the two of them move on from one another. Elyse

Elyse, youre so right about it being odd for Tim to brag about being spiteful! I dont have much else to say about these two except that I wanted to root for them, but their connection just seems off and the "hand over the mouth" incident seems extremely concerning. Taiyler

Netflix

Garrett And Taylor Have An Awkward Moment Over Her Ethnicity

I really hated the conversation with Taylor and Garrett that felt like he was going to put pressure on her to reveal more about how she looks. Im tired of people going on this show and thinking they can ask certain questions about a persons ethnicity to get a sense of who the person is. Thats cheating! I was glad that Taylor didnt end up just telling him, but I was also glad that they moved on from that conversation without it dragging along. Remember when AD refused to tell Clay how she looked? I felt like that moment dragged on for more than an episode, and Im glad this didnt happen here. I did think it was cute to see some of the men ask the women to be their girlfriend before ultimately proposing. That was a nice touch. Erin

I was grossed out by that, Erin. Taylor is lovely and Im glad she kept her foot figuratively on Garretts neck the whole time in the pods. But this conversation was the one that turned me off from Garrett. Especially because he was asking her to reveal her race specifically. Theres a lot I could unpack about that, but Ill just leave it at reminding these people what show they signed up for. Taryn

Im a softie for the resident nerd couple, and Garrett and Taylor fit the bill. So, Im in! But I hope their chemistry doesnt turn out to be like sodium, and they decide to say Na at the altar. (Sorry!!!)

Anyway, I didnt love Garretts response to Taylor wanting to keep her ethnicity private. But, I also think its worthwhile to disclose to a partner aspects of your identity that may affect your relationship. I have an invisible disability, and Ive learned over years of dating that its best to just tell someone Im romantically interested in that Im disabled right off the bat. That way I know whether or not they can roll with it, and it saves me a lot of heartache in the long run. Elyse

I love the nerd joke, Elyse! I also agree Im a fan of them, but more specifically Taylor (yes, Im also biased because our names are pronounced the same). I think its great that she didnt disclose her ethnicity at first and I definitely respect the choice. It also just made me think about how it could be difficult to let people in on who are without that. For me at least, my background/cultural identity are so intertwined that certain things would give away my blackness right off the bat.

Outside of that though, I really enjoyed Garretts speech to her when he proposed and I also loved that she read her grandparents love letter. This couple is so intelligent and so romantic. I really cant wait to see more of them. Taiyler

Netflix

Leo Can't Stop Talking About Having Money

No matter how much money he has, he cant buy a better personality. He truly sucks. Taryn

To be honest, I started fast-forwarding through the parts with Leo. He is exhausting to watch, and hes not cute. Sorry. He was also just talking at everyone throughout all six episodes. He. Would. Not. Shut. Up. He also had this weird posturing that sometimes happens when people are trying to put on in front of a camera. His tone and phrasing and the way he would hold conversations just made me question everything about him. Yuck. Erin

Leo just seems like a spoiled rich boy with zero talent just failing up by inheriting his familys art business. Even his negotiation skills seem akin to a toddler throwing a temper tantrum because Mommy wont buy him a new PS5. I honestly could not wrap my mind around why two women were interested in Leo. Elyse

The way Leo talked about having money as if it were some sort of hindrance is what got me. He kept claiming that he was insecure about women wanting him for money, which leads me to believe that we have different definitions of what insecure means. I mean come on insecure that women want you for your money? By that logic, it just means that he would have more women to pick from, right?? Now if he said he felt insecure about the possibility of choosing the wrong woman, then that wouldnt rub me as wrong, but I think its bullshit either way. And that moment in the first episode when he was just ranting about that so-called insecurity to the boys while virtually no one else was able to get a word in has he no decorum? No self-awareness? Taiyler

Leo reminds me of those people who think theyre more important than they actually are and have to constantly remind other people what they have going on. His money and job being a talking point in nearly every conversation in the pods was such a turn-off, I have no clue why Hannah was so torn about him. You can also tell he likes to hear himself talk, which isnt even a red flag to me, its just flat-out annoying. Everything about him felt like he was fronting in the pods, I was so over him. Njera

Netflix

The Producers Decide Not To Follow Brittany And Leo

Am I wrong for wanting to see some mess? Leo is a manipulative, ego-driven salesman with a Rolex, not a husband. I find no redeeming qualities about him, especially after he wanted Hannah to lie to Brittany and tell her their breakup was mutual. (Boy, stop.) But even with the bullshit he was kicking each episode, as a selfish viewer, I wanted to see that train wreck. It was clear as day that the foundation of their relationship was built on Leo manipulating the hell out of Brittany and Brittany being naive enough to go for it because money talks.

But even with that, theres no reason why producers shouldve spent that much camera time with them and not followed through on their story. Thats worse than folks on the show getting married and not following them at all, like theyve done in the past. It feels like the kind of tease that just doesnt make sense. Whether it be for ethical reasons or because the budget only allowed for six couples (which I doubt), they cant gloss over an explanation by the time the reunion rolls around. Taryn

It really feels like Netflix producers majorly overcorrected for the criticism they got last season for having *too much* mess and not enough Brett-Tiffany type of love stories. To be fair, last season was a mess, but I feel so cheated not getting to see the Leo/Brittany/Hannah storyline play out. We missed seeing Leo and Brittanys awkwardness and their eventual break up. Not to mention, Leo meeting Hannah for the first time, and all of that drama. Ill never forgive Netflix for this! Cambria

I do agree with Cambria and Taryn that the lack of drama this season is creating a snoozefest, buuuuuuut I just hope nothing abusive happened off camera between Brittany and Leo and thats why they decided to cut their story. (Its happened before with another couple in a previous season.)

I thought Brittany was stunt casting at first, but I ended up really liking her a lot. So, I hope shes OK and is dating Dave Navarro now or something. Elyse

OK, I feel absolutely cheated out of seeing the rest of Brittany and Leos story. Cutting them from the honeymoon trip after that awkward meeting in person feels like we got robbed of some juicy drama. To Elyses point, I hope nothing crazy happened off-camera to get them axed from the rest of the season, but the show spent entirely too much time on them and the Hannah love triangle to not give *any* explanation as to what happened to that couple. I hope we dont have to wait until the reunion to get answers because I was thoroughly confused when they werent included in the proposals recap. Njera

It kind of reeks of production trying to cover up something nefarious. Maybe its because Im aware of all the lawsuits flying around this show with claims that producers put contestants in pretty precarious situations. A part of me keeps thinking about the erasure of Renee and Cartners storyline from Season 5 and that whole fiasco. I dont know. I smell a rat, sorry! Elyse

Oh gosh, I hope that there isnt some scandal looming regarding this couple. I just cant imagine them showing their story at all if there was some sort of attempt to cover up something awful. But I will say that Leos tantrum when Hannah chose Nick was very concerning and raised several flags for me.

Outside of that, his proposal felt like a last-ditch effort to stay on the show so that he could try to remedy his mistake.

Obviously it didnt work. And Im somewhat glad I dont have to see that man on my screen anymore, but with him and Brittany becoming a couple temporarily, I feel like there was going to be so much drama to witness. Taiyler

Netflix

Let's Talk About Hannah And Nick

Hannah and Nick really didnt stick out to me as a couple until she decided to break things off with him. Though her decision did seem a bit hasty to me, I could respect her having a gut feeling and going with it. Or so I thought. When she found out (seemingly immediately after) that Brittany was also dating her top connection, Leo, the regret sank in. I can understand that from a human emotion kind of level, but I didnt expect her to actually spin the block and go running back to Nick. It felt as weird as the projections she was putting on Nick, which seemed to stem from her own insecurities.

And Nick was dumb for taking her back, if you ask me. Also, Im trying to find all this game everyone keeps saying Nick had in the pods. They painted him as a smooth-talker but nothing he was saying got me going. I could also see him as he was chatting so Ill give the benefit of the doubt, I guess. All and all, Im not rooting for this couple. Taryn

They called him a smooth talker so many times and I kept saying but where? He was saying a whole lot of nothing the whole time. It was hard for me to even see Hannah and Nicks connection. Nick said he looked better than Travis Kelce, and I screamed at my TV. Youd think people would learn to not compare themselves to celebrities after last seasons debacle, but I presume that this might have been recorded before the previous season aired. Hannah quit her job to be on Love Is Blind, and that immediately gave me pause. Erin

I hate to do this, but Hannah is kind of the Chelsea Blackwell of this season right? A messy tornado of feelings in which Im not quite sure why she gets emotional in certain situations?

Im assuming a lot of it stems from self-esteem issues, but I dont think quitting her job to find love on this show is the place where she really needs to be at this point in her life.

Anyway, Hannah and Nick in the pods? Hmm. Didnt she dump Nick initially because other people felt he was a F-Boy? I think thats all we really need to know. Shes more concerned with how theyre perceived as a couple rather than what they could potentially be as a couple.

Also, total side note, but Hannahs style she kind of reminds me of Jennifer Coolidges assistant from the last season of White Lotus. Elyse

Elyse, I definitely made the Chelsea connection with Hannah. Though, I think Hannah is much less annoying. So far at least. Erin

Yes, Elyse! Im honestly waiting on her to go full Chelsea. I think its loading. Taryn

Elyse, thats such an accurate analysis of Hannah in the pods! I didnt see a real connection between her and Nick or her and Leo, to be honest. It seemed like she was never sure about those relationships and insecurities had her projecting a lot in the pods. I also see a Chelsea meltdown coming after the way she acted during the honeymoon. I low-key feel like Nick and Hannah are going to break up before they even get to the altar. Njera

LOL I, too, was looking for Mr. Suave in the pods and Im not sure how other people came to the conclusion that he was a player or smooth-talker. I also definitely get the Chelsea-Hannah connection, but Im not sure Hannah has been quite as emotional. The self-esteem issues are very similar though. Before she got the ick from Nick, I felt like Hannahs self-esteem issues were definitely going to block their blessings. But now, I just dont know if theyre going to make it based on her getting the ick and her leaving out the pros and cons list. I just dont know if shes ready for marriage or if she even really likes him. Taiyler
