I got the base 256GB 8GB of ram model and this thing does everything I need it to and more. I consider myself fairly tech savvy, so when I heard all the controversy surrounding this model and its slower SSD, I was a little hesitant. After realizing what I wanted to do with the computer, this become a non-factor. I mostly do school (computer science) a little bit of rendering for my 3d printer and some very light gaming. This was just what I was hoping it would be. Its easy to toss around in my backpack. Its fast and has wonderful graphics. I retired recently but still need a laptop and this does just about everything. I can even charge it on the same C cable I use for everything else although it does have a magnetic charging cable as well. alchemist

 

Apple products speak for themselves. Our family has been using Macs for the last ten years and there is no way I could go back to a PC. The MacBook Air is lightweight and we purchased this for my daughter to start college with. She has already started using it and loves. I bought the Apple 2022 MacBook Air with the M2 chip two weeks ago, and I was pleasantly surprised at the price. I primarily use it for web browsing and software development, and I dont have many programs on it. Setting it up was seamless, especially since I have other Apple products. I encountered no issues during the setup. The Midnight color looks fantastic and is the best quality Air Ive ever used. The display and sound are great. While I havent tried video processing, the M2 chip performs wonderfully. Its noticeably faster than my Mac mini with the M1 chip. I love the size and weight; its perfect for bringing to the coffee shop. It also seems more durable than my girlfriends 2020 Air. The battery lasts at least 8 hours on a single charge, and I can use it at work for a significant portion of the day without needing to recharge. The new charging port style secures via a magnet, which works fine, though it could be a bit stronger. Overall, Im thrilled with the price, especially since Ive never had a Mac under $1,000. I have dreamt of owning a MacBook since they came out. Even one of the square little Apple computers from 2006- anything. I am so overjoyed that AMAZON had the option to finance with 0% interest. I honestly was nervous buying this off Amazon- Im not incentivized to make a review and I barely do- but Im eager to make sure anyone reading knows my excitement is genuine to the core and you need to do yourself the favor of purchasing this computer. Ive used various chromebooks and HPs after being gifted a friends old 2013 MacBook that had water damage (it literally lasted me 4 years!!) and nothing ever compared. Especially for business, Im an artist and the frustration and time it used to take to email myself photos to use on my website was terrible. Being able to have my iPhone merg with my computer has already saved me hundreds of hours since receiving this macbook 2 weeks ago. Im so happy. Its so fast and has everything you need. I truly dont think theres many reasons to get any other versions other than the 13 if you are tight on funds and need something efficient and fast.  visceral home
