Jeopardy

Not only has the definition of “mansplaining” been acknowledged by the Oxford English online dictionary it’s now officially been acknowledged by Alex Trebek, too.

The term was featured during the October 19 episode of “Jeopardy!”  as the answer to the “That Explains It” category for $600.

(Watch the segment below.)

The episode couldn’t have aired at a more perfect time. In the last few months alone, women in computer science  and physics  have publicly warded off the dreaded mansplain. One female advice columnist  even had the concept of mansplaining mansplained to her.
