Mia Farrow , who for years has accused ex-partner Woody Allen of sexually molesting their adopted daughter Dylan , said she completely understands actors who want to work with the director. (Watch the video below.)

Asked on CBS Sunday Morning if she could separate their 13 films together from the personal trials and tribulations that would follow, the Purple Rose of Cairo star replied: Oh yeah. I completely understand if an actor decides to work with him. Im not one whod say, Oh, they shouldnt.

Fast-forward to 5:50:

Several actors have disavowed the prolific Annie Hall Oscar winner or pledged not to work with him again, including Michael Caine, Timothe ChalametMira SorvinoColin FirthRebecca Hall  and Greta Gerwig . But Oscar winner Javier Bardem is among entertainment figures who have expressed support, saying the embattled filmmaker has been publicly lynched and that he wouldnt hesitate to join another Allen film

Allen has repeatedly denied the abuse claim, and no charges were filed after a police investigation.

Dylan Farrow told her mother about the alleged incident in August 1992 and days later Farrow filed for custody of Dylan and two other children they shared. Allen married Farrows adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn in 1997.

At the Venice Film Festival last year, Allen said he was willing to meet with Dylan while reasserting that her accusation had no merit. There was nothing to it , he told Variety . The fact that it lingers on always makes me think that maybe people like the idea that it lingers on. You know, maybe theres something appealing to people. But why? Why? I dont know what you can do besides having it investigated, which they did so meticulously.

Allen, 88, suggested that Coup de Chance, which screened at last years Venice festival, would be his final film.

According to IMDB , he has no full-length movie projects in the works.
