Creamy, rich coffees dont have to come from Starbucks when youve got a milk frother. These wonderful kitchen devices heat up and froth milk for cappuccinos and lattes in seconds, and unlike a full-blown espresso machine and steamer, they take up minimal counter space.

This frother is shaped like a tumbler and is as easy to use as pouring a cup of water. You just pour your milk or dairy alternative into it, fill it to the max line, out on its lid and then turn the knob to one of four foam settings: cappuccino for dense foam, latte for a layer, reheat to warm up liquids like coffee and matcha or cold for iced coffee foam. Once youre done, rinse it with water and wipe it clean. It has a non-stick coating to prevent build-up.

Ive tried a couple but this blows away any other. The first time I tried it was visiting my cousin and immediately purchased mine from Amazon and it was delivered the day I returned home. I use it daily, the heated setting is just right for my coffee and the cool setting is perfect for my afternoon matcha tea treat. Im picky, I know that, so I am real happy I found an excellent Frother for an affordable price because I do rely on it. A friend had one of these and I liked it so I got one for myself. Ive tried pretty much all the settings except for the warmer since I dont really do hot cocoa or warm milk very often. It takes about 2 minutes to make foam, I would say. I dont find this long at all, its enough time to prep your mug or glass while its frothing. I enjoy iced coffee so Ive used to cold foam maker the most, and it comes out really thick and makes a lot (see video) if you fill up the jar to the max line for foam. It makes nice thick foam for a hot cappuccino too. Cleaning is pretty easy, just dont submerge it or get excessive water on the bottom. I also find it easy to add water to the jar and turn on the warm frother to aid in cleaning, then give it a rinse and a wipe down on the inside. I replaced a more expensive Nespresso frother with this. This frother has more settings/options than the Nespresso, making it a better option for less money. My preference is the number 2 setting for my coffee beverages, along with my new LOR coffee/espresso machine. It is easy to use and clean, warms nicely, and gives my preference of frothed dairy for my double espressos. I would purchase this again. The only downside I found is that this machine takes slightly longer to produce warmed froth than my Nespresso did. Not a big deal to me for the quality/value it offers. Update: Ive been using this frother daily for almost 3 months, and it continues to produce reliable, consistent results. I use cold half and half on the number 2 setting, and it froths very well to 130 degrees F. This is just right for my taste and does not scorch on the bottom like my Nespresso frother did.  RM

 

Ive been frothing my coffee milk by hand for years, using a tool I found on sale 30 tears ago. Couldnt find another one anywhere. When I wanted a frother for our ski condo, I finally caved and bought this one. It is fantastic. It heats the milk gently and never overheats it, and the foam stays creamy through the whole cup.  Karen B.

 

The coolest thing about this product (besides the 4 settings that work amazingly and have held this up know for more than 2 months) is that it shows you what is quality milk or cream vs not or fake. I have noticed that it will froth true creams, even those that are not dairy. Just saying that fritters all have the same function but not all creams are equal. The quality doesnt feel cheap or plastic. It has a nice weight and it is super easy to clean. Anyway, hope this helps.  Wil O
