It was a crime of opportunity.

Earlier this month, a young woman fed a monkey at Mount Emei in China's Sichuan Province. In one hand, she held some monkey chow and in the other -- her phone .

She was trying to record a video, but as far as the monkey could tell, it probably seemed like she was offering the items held in both hands.

Or maybe he's just ticked off at people who record video vertically.

Either way, that led to this magical monkey moment.

Did she get the phone back? It's not clear. But people who film vertical videos probably don't deserve to get their phones back anyway.
